AHERO was founded in 2010 to serve women and youth, with particular focus on the girl child, in economically challenged communities in rural Africa. Since our beginnings, we have worked to address the specific economic, social, and environmental challenges facing women and youth in their communities. We work in partnership with communities, schools, and local organizations to foster an environment that empowers women and youth.
